Nacho first attended a Villarreal Sydney Academy Clinic 4 years ago, where his talent and potential immediately impressed our coaching staff. A versatile defender capable of playing as a right back or centre back, he quickly stood out for his quality and understanding of the game.

From that moment, he was given the opportunity to take part in multiple international experiences within the Villarreal CFpathway, continuing to grow both on and off the pitch.

After years of development and progression, Villarreal CF decided it was the right moment for Nacho to remain in Spain permanently. He is now training with the Villarreal CF U16 and continuing his journey in one of Europe’s elite development environments.

For the 2025/26 season, Nacho has also been selected to represent the Philippines national under-17 football team, another huge milestone in his career.
