Ian Berens

Villarreal CF U19 International Team

Ian was the very first student at Villarreal Sydney Academy — a natural fighter who never gives up and continues to grow through every stage of his journey.

Over 4 years at Villarreal Sydney, Ian became an example for everyone around him through his mentality, work ethic and constant desire to learn and improve. A fantastic teammate and a true leader on and off the pitch.

After years of development within our program, it was decided that the next step for his progression was to continue his football journey in Spain through the Villarreal CF pathway.

Ian is now competing with the Villarreal CF U19 International Team, continuing his development in one of Europe’s top football environments.

A proud example of resilience, leadership and the international pathway in action. 💛💙
